Your overnight tour is filled with the best of Cape Tribulation and the Daintree. Travel in a modern coach to the Great Barrier Reef. Stop in Port Douglas for a visit to a wildlife habitat to learn about native Australian wildlife. Get up close with some of the most iconic species including crocodiles, koalas and the endangered Southern Cassowary, and hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies. Onwards to Cape Tribulation for a tropical lunch, followed by checking into your accommodation with an afternoon to relax or enjoy some optional extra activities. The following morning is free to enjoy your own free time or experience more optional extra activities. Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation around midday, and you will visit the world-famous Cape Tribulation beach. It’s the only place in the world where two World Heritage sites meet – the oldest living rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Continue with a guided walk through ancient rainforest, followed by a stop at Alexandra Lookout, overlooking the surrounding mountain range out to the glittering blue of the Coral Sea. Have the chance to spot wildlife in their natural habitat when you board the Daintree River crocodile cruise, including wild estuarine crocodiles which can be spotted sunbathing on the banks of the river.
