Description
The Giant Swing at Skypark Cairns launches one to three participants simultaneously through the rainforest canopy, dropping 45 metres to just one metre above the ground in 3.5 seconds. This is a unique experience in Queensland offering a combination of speed, height, and shared adrenaline.
Designed for couples, friends, parents, and older children, the harness system fits groups of up to three. The thrill of screaming through the treetops together creates lasting memories beyond the immediate experience.
What to Expect
After check-in, an instructor fits your harness and explains the release process. You are winched up to the launch height with your group, surrounded by rainforest and views of the Cairns hinterland. When ready, releasing the swing sends you accelerating to 120km/h, arcing through the trees before gently swinging above the forest floor. The full ride lasts around 60 seconds.

- Minimum solo weight: 55kg; maximum per person: 150kg
- Maximum combined weight for tandem or triple swing: 200kg
- Not suitable for pregnant women or people with vertigo or epilepsy

- Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian to co-sign a waiver
