Description
Depart Cairns for a short 45-minute air-conditioned catamaran cruise to Green Island, a protected coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef. The island features over 120 native plant species and abundant marine life.
Enjoy the unique Seawalker helmet dive, where you walk on the sea floor around a coral outcrop 520 metres from the beach at depths of about 5 metres. Alternatively, explore the reef with the glass bottom boat coral viewing tour or snorkel directly from the sandy beaches using provided equipment.
Explore the island’s rainforest via self-guided eco trails, swim in the island pool, or visit the Marineland Melanesia crocodile habitat. Optional activities include scuba diving, offshore snorkel trips, kayaking, and scenic helicopter flights.
The island offers day visitor facilities such as a dive shop, restaurant, food outlets, and a pool bar where lunch, snacks, and refreshments are available for purchase.
