Description

Depart Cairns and travel past Walsh’s Pyramid, one of the world’s largest natural pyramids. Climb the World Heritage-listed Gillies Highway with views over Goldsborough Valley, then stop at Heales Lookout for photos before entering the Atherton Tablelands.

Visit Lake Barrine Crater Lake National Park to see the 1,000-year-old Twin Kauri Pines and enjoy a Devonshire morning tea. Explore Yungaburra, known for its heritage buildings, then view the 45m-high Curtain Fig Tree and spot rare wildlife such as the Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo.
