Meet at the starting point at Lake Placid or get picked up from Cairns. Upon arriving at Lake Placid, meet your friendly guide, gear up with a life jacket, helmet, and optional rafting shoes, before making your way to the river's edge. After a thorough safety briefing and paddle instructions, practice in flat water before diving into the action.
Ease into your journey with gentle rapids to build confidence before tackling more exciting rapids—like the thrilling Rooster Tail. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the rainforest and learn about local wildlife as you paddle through this beautiful natural setting.
After reaching the take-out point, change into dry clothes and check out your action photos, available for purchase.
