Description
Begin your day with the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding over pristine rainforest with the canopy just below you. Spend time at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations to appreciate the environment.
Arriving in Kuranda, take a shuttle to Rainforestation Nature Park. Here, explore the rainforest aboard a 6-wheel drive Army Duck amphibious vehicle. Your driver will point out local wildlife and explain the rainforest's plants and trees. After the tour, sample exotic fruits and locally made ice cream at the Tropical Treats fruit orchard.
Then, catch a shuttle to Kuranda Village, where you have free time to explore the markets and shops.
Return to Cairns via the Kuranda Scenic Railway, which passes through tunnels and over bridges, including views of Stoney Creek and Barron Falls. Upon arrival in Cairns, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.
