Description
The tour begins with a hotel pickup in Cairns from 7 AM onwards. You will be taken to the Kuranda Scenic Railway station to board the train at 8:50 AM. Relax as the train travels through hand-cut tunnels and crosses bridges over dramatic gorges.
Arriving in Kuranda at 10:30 AM, you have 1 hour to explore local shops and the heritage markets, which operate daily. At 11:30 AM, board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to Caravonica Lakes.
The Skyrail travels silently over the rainforest canopy, with two stations en route where you can disembark for short rainforest walks or visit the CSIRO Interpretive Center. After the cableway ride, a coach departs at 12:40 PM to return you to Cairns.
