Description
Begin with hotel pickup in Port Douglas aboard an air-conditioned bus traveling the Captain Cook Highway. Experience the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, stopping twice to view the canopy and capture photos.
Arrive in Kuranda Village, where a local guide leads you through the markets, highlights of the village, and nearby small animal parks (entry not included). Board the Kuranda Scenic Train for your descent, passing mountain tunnels and waterfalls.
At Freshwater Station, continue to Palm Cove for a break. Options include a sunset cocktail purchased individually or a stroll along the beach. The trip concludes with return transport to Port Douglas, arriving before evening.
Important: Skyrail Cableway is closed from 25 May to 3 June and from 20 July to 18 August; during these times only the train portion is available. The wet season (November to April) may affect train operations. Confirm schedules before booking.
