Description

At Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, you can get close to Australia's native and exotic wildlife in a natural setting. Located at Wangetti, between Cairns and Port Douglas, the park offers a boat tour where crocodiles are fed using traditional pole feeding techniques.

The park features daily talks and demonstrations, including a crocodile farm tour, a crocodile attack show, and venomous snake presentations. Between shows, explore over 2,500 meters of boardwalks winding through melaleuca wetlands, eucalypt woodland, and riverine rainforest, observing numerous native and exotic animals.

Food and beverages are available at the onsite bistro for visitors looking to refresh after walking. Additional wildlife exhibits include Komodo dragons, alligators, cassowaries, wombats, koalas, emus, lizards, kangaroos, and wallabies.

Visit the Gallery of Living Art’s walk-through aviary to meet tropical and predatory birds. The reptile room showcases exotic reptiles, and the experience concludes with the opportunity to photograph a baby crocodile or a friendly snake or lizard.
