Description
Board a World War II Army Duck for a combined land and water tour through the rainforest. Your guide will point out plants such as ferns, orchids, strangler figs, and the stinging tree, while you watch for native animals including turtles, eels, birds, pythons, and reptiles.
After the tour, visit the Tropical Fruit Orchard featuring over 40 exotic fruit species like jackfruit, pawpaw, lychees, carambola, and star apple. This orchard offers educational insights into regional and international tropical fruits.
The Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience allows visitors to see traditional dance in the Rainforest Amphitheatre. Participate in the Dreamtime Walk along the Rainbow Serpent walkway and observe spear throwing and didgeridoo performances. You can also practice boomerang throwing and test your skill to make it return.
Explore the Koala & Wildlife Park at your own pace, where you can see crocodiles, kangaroos, wallabies, snakes, dingoes, a cassowary, Tasmanian Devils (the only ones in North Queensland), and a rescued Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo.
