Description
At 12:50pm, you are picked up from your accommodation in Port Douglas by a personal guide. If you are coming from Cairns, meet the group at the Wildlife Habitat Carpark.
Travel north along the Captain Cook Highway, passing sugarcane fields while learning about the region’s history and natural environment.
Board a Daintree River cruise to spot estuarine crocodiles, snakes, birds, frogs, and other wildlife. Refreshments including wine, beer, or soft drinks are provided during the cruise.
Arrive at Mossman Gorge, the southern section of the Daintree Rainforest. Take an easy 500-meter return walk mostly on boardwalks while your guide explains local flora and fauna and answers your questions.
Enjoy a swim in the clear rainforest stream at Mossman Gorge, perfect for cooling off after the walk in this peaceful setting.
The tour concludes with drop-off at your accommodation or vehicle around 5:30pm.
