It is located an hour west of Cairns on the northern edge of the Cairns Highlands/ Atherton Tablelands, and provides a sanctuary for outback wildlife, including a number of Australia’s rarest bird species. Included is free annual membership of the Wildlife Conservancy of Tropical Queensland.
The African-style tented safari cabins have ensuites with flushing toilets. Each safari cabin has a double and single bed, fridge, kettle & toater and decking with tables and chairs. No Phones, radio and television but mobile phone coverage, minibar, jacuzzi spa and on-site camp host is available. A continental breakfast is included and BBQ meals can be self-catered or a BBQ pack can be ordered and a cafe provides lunch.
